Driftwood is Useless. Or Is It?

"Driftwood" by definition is "wood that has been washed onto a shore or beach of a sea, lake, or river by the action of winds, tides or waves."
This driftwood is most likely wet, disfigured, and a big nuisance. But that doesn't make it useless. Driftwood can sometimes provide shelter for birds, fish, and other aquatic creatures that may be seeking refuge.
That's not the only thing driftwood is good for. Apparently, it is used to make furniture or other art forms and seems to be most popular in fish tanks.
What I am trying to say is...if you feel like a useless chunk of driftwood (which you aren't), don't feel that way, cause God can still use someone who has messed up. Who has made some mistakes and feels like a failure. I have news for you...you are NOT a failure. His mercies are new EVERY morning. We get a second chance every day we breathe. Don't sit in self-pity thinking you can't do anything for God, because you chose poorly on occasions. It's a new day, live like God has forgiven you, cause He has. He loves you the most. More than you can possibly know. Isn't that amazing? I sin and mess up every single day of my life, and my God still loves me. You don't even have to be talented to be used by God. Never feel like you can't use what you have for God. Just ask Him to use you and believe me, He will.

So many people need to hear this and it’s encouraging to know there is someone who is trying to encourage others. Driftwood can be repurposed in so many ways and used in decorations, walking sticks, or other useful things. We all feel like a useless piece of wood at times but we should not be afraid because God can us anything for his plan. Great post!
