Expect the Unexpected

So, the first day I drove my car after getting it back with a new motor in it, it died on me as I went up a hill. Now, at that moment, having not driven my car in a while and hardly being familiar with it in the first place, I panicked. Cause I couldn't find the hazard button and I'm sitting in the middle of an exit. And then my car starts to roll backward, cause at that point, I didn't know my vehicle had died. So I just had my foot on the brake. So I threw it in park and figured out where my hazards were. Thankfully, there was a man walking near there, how he go there and why he was walking near a busy exit/intersection in the heat of the sun I don't know, he offered to help push me out of the way, so people getting on that exit could get by. He pushed me aside and made sure I had someone coming. That meant so much to me. God looks out for His people! Anyways, I tried to start it up again and then again and I finally got it started. Now, this was not the only time my car would decide to quit on me...just recently it happened again at the top of a hill at a stop sign. Except this time, I didn't panic. I calmly and confidently pressed the hazard button. Put my car into park and started my engine up again. Why was I so calm? Because I had been through that before. You see, I think God puts us through things we don't understand so we are prepared for it again in the future. So we don't break down and freak out when something new goes wrong. Aren't you glad we serve a God who looks out for us? Not just now, but in the future too! My advice to you is to be prepared as best you can. Expect the unexpected. But let God prepare you for the things you can't plan for.
