So...I know I get like this sometimes. I don't know about any of you ladies or guys, but sometimes I doubt my God-given beauty (or handsomeness ;) ). Sometimes, I don't think I'm enough. I constantly compare myself to others. But you know what? EVERYONE has their insecurities. So that person you idolize and just think are the most perfect person on earth, you'd be wrong to think that they are perfect in every way. They're not. Don't compare yourself to others. If you are overweight, maybe that's okay. If it's affecting your health, then do something about it. If you are covered from head to toe in scars, God put each of them their for a reason. Maybe to tell a story, I don't know. Why do we seek attention from those we idolize? We don't need their approval and we don't need them to tell us we meet the standard of todays society. God says we are "fearfully and wonderfully made." Made in His image. Which means we're all technically perfect in His eyes. You are needed and you matter in this world. Whether you feel like you do or not. So, remember you are priceless to Him. Perfect in every way.

There is one person we should “idolize” and that is God. He is perfect in every way and yet he will still hear us when we pray. The human life is riddled with flaws and insecurities but when we focus on God, those insecurities fade because our focus is on something else. Great post!
