It's the Journey That Matters

So sometimes we get in a traffic jam when driving. Right? So they bring out a guy who is the designated traffic coordinator. He tells you where you can go and when to go.
God is the Traffic Coordinator. He tells you where you can go and when you should go. But you have to be paying attention and you have to be watching and waiting for Him to give you the go. You have to be prepared...maybe you need sunglasses because the sun is blinding you and you can't see the Traffic Coordinator; you become distracted by the sun. So you read your Bible so He can prepare you for what is to come. You have to be ready though. Have your foot ready to press the gas pedal. You need to know ahead of time what could be waiting for you. So you check your map and find out if there is going to be traffic. You pray that God would lead you the way He wants you to go. Then, when the time is right and everything is as it should be, God says, "Okay. It's time." And...you're off! Sometimes the journey is the best part of a road trip. The destination is okay, but it's how you got there that matters.
